South Bay LGBTQ Center offers a wide variety of programs and activity groups for community members of all ages. Our goal is to celebrate our LGBTQ+/Queer community in the South Bay. NOTE: Meeting times are subject to change. Please refer to our social media for more information on Zoom meetings. 

Spectra: LGBTQ+ Adults Group
Date: Mondays

Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm

 

Join us every Monday from 7:00PM - 9:00PM at the South Bay LGBTQ Center.

As a peer-facilitated support group, we welcome all LGBTQ+/Queer adults around their 20s-30s. We strive to honor the work of notable members of our LGBTQ+/Queer community through cultural awareness, community building, and encouraging powerful self-love.

Night of Games
Date: Tuesdays 

Time: 4:00pm - 9:00pm

Join us every Tuesday from 4:00PM - 9:00PM at the South Bay LGBTQ Center.

Come join in on the board game fun! We welcome you to join in on the many games we have here at the Center but you may also bring in your own game(s) to share with the group. People of all ages are welcome to attend.

Refreshments available for $1: Sodas, Water, Coffee, Tea, and Snacks.

 

Free 2B LGBT Teens Group
Date: Wednesdays 

Time: 5:00pm - 7:00pm

Join us every Wednesday from 5:00PM - 7:00PM at the South Bay LGBTQ Center.

Free 2B LGBT Teens Group is a peer support group focused on exploring sexual and gender

identity in a welcoming and supportive environment. Membership is open to

teenagers 13-18 years old. Identification as LGBTQ+/Queer is not required to attend.
 

OUR MAIN GOALS:
* Building friendships
* Discussing sexuality, gender identity, bullying, depression, and anxiety
* Developing life and social skills
* Participating in new experiences and to share opportunities
* Learning how to lead safe and healthy lives
* Developing a voice
* Increasing self confidence
* Developing greater personal resilience
* Exploring aspirations
* Celebrating diversity

 

 

Trans* Social Support Group
Date: Wednesdays 

Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm

 

Join us every Wednesday from 7:00PM - 9:00PM at the South Bay LGBTQ Center.

A social support group for Trans*, Gender Non-Conforming, Gender Fluid, Non-Binary, and Gender Variance people at all stages. We welcome anyone who is or might be questioning their Gender Identity.

Friends and family members of Trans* people are welcome to attend. This is a place to discuss our community in a welcoming atmosphere of inclusion.

Queer Book Club
Dates: 1st & 3rd Thursdays

Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Join us every 1st and 3rd Thursday from 7:00PM - 9:00PM at the South Bay LGBTQ Center.

For those who enjoy discussing Queer literature with other Queers in a substance-free environment. The focus will be on Queer authors and their works, with a special emphasis on P.O.C. and other marginalized communities within the LGBTQ+ community.

Bi & Beyond
Dates: 2nd & 4th Thursdays

Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Join us every 2nd and 4th Thursday from 7:00PM - 9:00PM at the South Bay LGBTQ Center.

We are a friendly social support group dedicated towards serving the Bisexual+ community of the South Bay and South Los Angeles area.

This is a social conversation group where people who identify as Bisexual, Fluid, Pansexual, Bi-curious, Queer or Questioning, along with partners and allies, can discuss topics on different degrees of attraction and other matters and meet people in a community space.

This group will include introductions to learn about each other, followed by a group discussion - a great way to discover oneself, learn more about Bisexual+ identities, make new friends and get support on issues like coming out and integrating your awareness into your everyday life in a holistic, safe way. This group will sometimes discuss pre-determined topics, followed by an open forum where people of all self-identifies are able to share ideas and topics that are on their minds.

 

 

Pathfinder RPG Society Organized Play

Date: Saturdays

Time: 1:00pm - 9:00pm

 

Join us every Saturday from 1:00PM - 9:00PM at the South Bay LGBTQ Center.

Pathfinder Society is a worldwide fantasy roleplaying campaign that puts YOU in the role of an agent of the Pathfinder Society, a legendary league of explorers, archaeologists, and adventurers dedicated to discovering and chronicling the greatest mysteries and wonders of an ancient world beset by magic and evil.

In Pathfinder Society Organized Play, you play a member of the Pathfinder Society, seeking fortune and glory all over the face of Golarion. At the same time, your character works for one of the competing factions, all with their own motivations and secret agendas.

Play is organized into Seasons, throughout which the actions and achievements of you and your fellow Pathfinders create an ongoing storyline. Each season consists of at least 28 Pathfinder Society scenarios (short, 4-hour adventures) set in a variety of exotic locations across Golarion.
